James Lanford

James Christopher "Chris" Lanford, 58, of Buffalo Gap, TX passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Buffalo Gap, TX.
Chris was born on September 25, 1963, in Abilene, Texas to James Moritz Lanford and Norma V Slaton Lanford. He married the love of his life, Kimberly on May 25, 2018 after many years of dating, and they enjoyed a wonderful life together until her passing on March 3, 2022. Chris was a longtime employee at Hendrick Medical Center in the Cancer Center as a pharmacy tech. He enjoyed pulling pranks, shooting, traveling, taking pictures, fishing, airplanes, and spending time with his family and friends. Chris was working towards obtaining his HAM radio operator's license at the time he passed.
Chris is survived by his children, James "Jamie" Lanford, Christopher "Miles" Lanford, Amanda Gallaway and her husband Colton; grandson, Andrew Gallaway; father, James Lanford; ex-wife and friend, Deirdre; as well as other extended family and many dear friends.
Chris was also preceded in death by his mother, Norma V Lanford; and brothers, Stephen and Andrew Lanford.
