Jackie Dwight Threadgill, 84, of Abilene, Texas passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at Texas Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2017 located at Coleman Cemetery, 1600 E 9th St, Coleman, TX officiated by Brother Ronnie Watson of Lytle South Baptist Church.
Jackie was born on March 17, 1932 in Coleman; son of E. C. Threadgill Sr. and Wilma Hubbard Threadgill. Jackie was a decorated veteran in the United States Armed Forces and served in the Korean War. He will always be remembered as a faithful Christian, beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Threadgill of Abilene; daughter, Jacquelyn and John Gaylord; son, Steve and Ann Threadgill; grandchildren, Shawn Threadgill, Clayton Phelps and Margaret Threadgill; great-grandchildren, Alisa Threadgill and Samantha Threadgill.
