Irene Lott

Lena Irene Clay Lott went to be with her heavenly father on November 3,2023. Irene was 91 years old. She was preceded in death by her Father Henry Carl Clay and Mother Callie Sue Turner Clay; two brothers Doyle Clay and Canon Clay; two sisters Cecil Baker and Mary Smith; also, two sons Jackie Smart and Roger Smart and one grandson Joe Ray Holmes. Two sisters living are Margie Dick of Ashdown, Arkansas and twin sister Lorraine, (Peppie) Smith of Fouke, Arkansas. Irene has 1 daughter living Mary Ellen Ward of Ashdown, Arkansas.

Irene has many grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; She will be missed by all!

Irene was a long-time member of the Millwood Baptist Church in Ashdown Arkansas. Irene was a member of the Women of the Moose chapter 1504 in Abilene Texas for many years; also, a longtime member of the American Legion Post 57 in Abilene Texas and the American Legion Post 124 in Ashdown Arkansas.

Irene will be buried alongside her husband Delmer Lott in Elmwood Funeral Home and Memorial Park; they will be officiating in Abilene Texas.
