Ida Marie Daron, 82, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 in Abilene. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 16th in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South with burial following in Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 8:30 PM on Monday at Elmwood Funeral Home.
Ida was born on February 14, 1928 and was raised in the Santa AnnaWhon area. She married Raymond G. Daron Sr. on March 26, 1944 and has resided in Abilene since 1946.
Survivors include three daughters, Volina Marie Sawyer, Susan Essia Martin and husband Ronnie all of Abilene and Carolyn Dee Zimmerlee and husband Wayne of Lawn nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Raymond G. Daron Jr., her parents, Pearlee Cargill Story, Sam Story and William Taylor Cargill, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 granddaughter and 3 great grandsons.
