Helen Ann Winchester, 85, passed away on June 3, 2026, in Abilene. She was born on February 18, 1941, in Ballinger, Texas.

Helen lived a life defined by faith, family, hard work, and compassion. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she touched the lives of many through her kindness, wisdom, and caring spirit. Those who knew Helen admired her intelligence, strength of character, and genuine concern for others. She was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement to those in need.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. Helen was a dedicated member of Redeeming Love Church in Abilene, where she faithfully worshiped and found great joy in her church family. Her steadfast belief in God guided her throughout her life and served as an inspiration to those around her.

Professionally, Helen enjoyed a successful career as a realtor with Senter Realtors, where she worked for more than 20 years. She took pride in helping families find homes and build their futures, earning the respect and trust of her clients and colleagues alike.

Helen and her beloved husband, Don, shared a passion for country living. Together, they enjoyed raising animals and caring for their farm, creating a life filled with hard work, cherished memories, and a deep appreciation for God's creation. Their love for animals was evident to all who knew them.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Don Winchester Sr.; her daughter, Debra Newberry; her sisters, Kay, Dean, and Jean; and her brother, Larry.

She is survived by her sons, Don "Bubba" Winchester Jr. and wife, Sandra, of Abilene, Randy Winchester and wife, Ann, of Winters, and Roger Winchester and Denise of Abilene; along with numerous grandchildren and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

Though Helen's presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, love, compassion, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
