Helen "Deanna" Harris Butler, born February 4th, 1939 in New Liberty, IL.

Visitation will be Monday June 16, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas. Graveside services will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM on Monday June 16, 2025 at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas.

Preceded in Death by parents Tony & Gladys Harris. Deanna was the youngest of three children, she was preceded in death by Tony Wayne Harris & Opal Grimes Harris. Deanna graduated from Pope County Community High in Golconda IL 1955. She met the love of her life Owen Butler & eloped June 9th 1956. Through Owen's military service, traveling the world they added four children to the family. Deanna graduated from Nursing school 1981, after losing her husband in 1993. She took great pride in becoming a Master Gardener. She loved Baseball and was a die hard Atlanta Braves fan. Survived by her children: Sherry & Jesse Griffith, Susan and the late Russell Burks, David & Sherry Jane Butler, Stephanie and Kevin Wells.

Grandchildren: Melody Perales, David Perales, Shelley DeAx, Sarah Butler, Seleste Trainham, Sean Butler. Great- Grandchildren: Julia, the late Jackie, Kenny, Aiden, Grace, Maddox, Ethan, Owen, Adailne, Brayden. Great-Great Grandchild: Lilah rose.
