Prior to that she had 20 years of service in various hospitals between West Texas and Oklahoma. After retiring, she spent the past 14 years enjoying the quiet comfort of home with her beloved husband, Wayne.
Her love for her family was the guiding light of her life. Hazel is survived by her devoted husband, three children, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members who were all cherished deeply.
Hazel found her greatest joy in the simple yet profound pleasures of life—spending time with family, reading, and traveling. She will be remembered for her warm heart, kind soul, and the lasting impact she had on everyone blessed to know her.
