Hannelore "Erica" Smith, 86 of Abilene, passed away on February 20, 2026,surrounded by the love of her family.
Hannelore was born on July 5, 1939, in Germany . A cherished wife, mother and grandmother, she leaves behind her beloved Husband Louis Smith her daughter, Connie Cunningham, son Steven Smith and Eric Crawford and grandchildren Sarah, Jessica and Aryne.
Hannelore was a dedicated gardener, finding joy and tranquility in nurturing her plants. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Hannelore is preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Lynn Crawford.
