Faye White passed from this life on April 23, 2022. She was born in Mercedes, Texas, on November 12, 1931. After graduating from Mercedes High School, she attended Mary Hardin Baylor and completed her Bachelor's Degree at North Texas University. After a brief time as an elementary teacher in Ft. Worth and as a stewardess with Pan American Airlines, she and Dr. Turner White, Jr. DDS were united in marriage in 1956 and relocated to Abilene. Following the death of her beloved husband, she received a Masters Degree at Abilene Christian University. She worked as an educator for Abilene ISD, and continued her career as a consultant for the visually impaired with Region 14. Faye was a long time member of First United Methodist Church, Abilene, where she served as organist for 36 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Bravenec and Christine Emery; her husband Dr. T.A White, Jr. DDS; her two daughters Carla Elizabeth White, and Fay Michelle White; and her sister Johnnye Bravenec Edwards.
Survivors include her son Turner White III of Grand Prairie, TX; and her sister Peggy Timmons of Santa Fe, TX. She is also survived by her nieces Karen Timmons Ward, Sharon Doran (David), and Kathryn Peterson; her nephews Kevin Timmons (Laura) and Patrick Hull; great- nieces  Ardith Diane Bravenec, Rachel DW Bravenec, and Christine Rose Ward,  and great- nephew Anthony Timmons; and her life- long friend Susie Bennett.
Faye was loved and admired by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. A private ceremony will be held at inurnment.
