Erma Oliver

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Erma Oliver, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on April 25, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on December 18, 1937, in Texarkana, Texas, Erma lived a life filled with faith, love, and unwavering dedication to her family and faith community.

Erma is survived by her beloved children LaWanda White ,Debra Price, and Troy Oliver, . She was a proud grandmother to Alisha and William Oliver, Cori Fingers, Collette Rivera, Courtnie Owens, Conitta Fingers, Jazmine Oliver, Javon Oliver, Janue' Person, and Jamica Oliver. Her legacy of love and support will forever be cherished by her family.

In addition to her immediate family, Erma is remembered fondly by her two brothers and a vast circle of friends from her congregation, with whom she shared countless joyful moments and cherished memories. Her life was characterized by her faithfulness, and unwavering belief in Jehovah, and the love she spread to everyone around her.

Visitation will take place on May 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Family Center of Elmwood Funeral Home, providing an opportunity for those who loved her to come together and celebrate her remarkable life. Following the visitation, her graveside services will start at 11:00 AM at 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, TX. Under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
