Erica Lang

Erica Saldana Lang, 40, of Abilene passed away in San Antonio on January 27, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Minda Street Church of Christ, 701 Minda Street, Abilene, Texas. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Erica was born on March 8, 1981, in Abilene, Texas to Rene and Margarita Saldana. She attended school in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School. She married Eric Lang on April 10, 2012. Erica enjoyed cooking and baking. She also cherished the time she spent with her family. Erica adored being Tita, as she particularly loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was so thrilled to be adding two more grandchildren to the family this year.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Rene Saldana.

Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband, Eric Lang; mother, Margarita Saldana; children; Mariah Gonzales and Courtney Underwood; grandchildren, Haydon, Oden, Shiloh, R.J, Rico, Rodrigo, and two on the way; brother, Pito Saldana (Tammy); sister, Diana Lopez; nieces, Dulce Mancine and Feliz Vasquez, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
