Elisa Lopez

Elisa "Mary" Lopez, 66, of Abilene passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, in Abilene.

Mary was born on November 20, 1955, in Abilene, TX to the late Manuel Hernandez and Francesca (Trinidad) Hernandez. She married Antonio Lopez in Michigan on September 28, 1972. Mary was a caring loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her best times were when the family was together, she was cooking, and memories being made. Mary was known to take in stray animals and people, everyone was loved and fed. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Antonio Lopez; children, Anthony Steven Lopez and wife Megam, Reynalda Devora and husband Bruno, Francisca Hernandez and husband Justin, Pablo Alejandro Lopez; grandchildren, Alyssa, Alexus, Alizabeth, Aaron, Vincent Sr, Vivian, Adrian, Aliyah, Layla, Antonio, Sera; great grandchildren, Anavey, Vela, Vi, and Vincent Jr; siblings, Manuel Hernandez Jr. and wife Sue, Rosa Sanchez, Aurelia Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez and wife Tomasa, Paul Hernandez, Johnny Hernandez and wife Lupe, Esther Lopez, Frankie Hernandez and wife Delia; numerous extended family and friends.

Mary was also preceded in death by a brother, George Hernandez.
