Todd Widdows, 58, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Abilene, Texas.

Todd was born March 10, 1968, in Abilene, Texas, to Wayne and Linda Widdows. He graduated from Abilene High School in 1986. Todd attended Cisco Jr. College for a short time before moving to the DFW area where he became a Master Plumber. He moved back to Abilene in 2007 and on June 23, 2012, he married the love of his life, Nancy, in Abilene, beginning a devoted partnership filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures.

Todd was the proud owner and operator of A1 Plumbing, dedicating more than 35 years to his trade. Known for his strong work ethic, skill, and reliability, he earned the respect of both his customers and colleagues throughout the years.

Outside of work, Todd embraced life to the fullest. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time at the lake. He had a passion for traveling and especially loved cruises. He also found excitement in gambling, particularly playing black jack and visiting Win Star. Todd had a deep love for music and dancing, often bringing joy and energy wherever he went.

Above all, Todd will be remembered for his kind and generous heart. He was a man of good manners, warmth, and genuine compassion for others. His presence brought comfort and happiness to those around him, and his memory will forever be cherished.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Eddie and Maggie Palmer; cousin, Kelly Moore; and father, Robert Wayne Widdows.

Todd is survived by his wife, Nancy Widdows; his mother, Linda Adams; his sister, Lorrie Skaats and husband Earnie; his aunt, Kathy Robbins; cousin, Amy Reister and husband Curt; daughter, Brittany Hunt and husband Brian; three grandchildren, Barrett, Allie, and Bryson; and numerous nieces, nephews, along with countless friends that he considered family.

Todd will always be dear to our hearts and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
