Delois Lambert

Delois Sue Lambert, 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Abilene, Texas, on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, surrounded by family. A 20-year breast cancer survivor, Delois lived with quiet courage and strength, facing life's challenges with grace and resilience.

Delois was best known as a loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She devoted her heart, time, and energy to those she loved. Her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit will be remembered always. Deeply charitable by nature, she was always willing to give, help, and serve others. To her grandchildren, she was truly the best grandma ever. Kind, supportive, and endlessly loving.

Delois is survived by her son and greatest joy, Patrick Edwards; her grandchildren, Ryan Edwards, Regan Edwards, Marley Edwards, and Trey Hagler; and her sister, Omadene Elliot.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby "Bob" Lambert; her parents, Clarence and Lucille Ellison; her sister, Bea Love; and her granddaughter, Allie Edwards.

Those who knew Delois will remember her unwavering love for her family, her quiet strength, and the warmth she brought into every room. She was an amazing grandmother who poured unconditional love, wisdom, and joy into every moment shared with her grandchildren. She had a gift for making everyone feel loved, even upon first meeting them. Her legacy of love, kindness, perseverance, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Tx 79606.
