Davey Hickam

Davey Hickam, 53, of Calimesa, California passed away on July 13, 2021, in Indio, California.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 US HWY 277 South, Abilene, Texas. Larry Sullivan, Minister at Baker Heights Church of Christ will be officiating.

A celebration for Davey will be held on Saturday night at Play Faire Park, 2300 North 2 ^nd Street, Abilene, Texas, from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM.

Davey was born on December 28, 1967, at Hendrick Memorial Hospital in Abilene. He attended school at Bonham Elementary, Lincoln Middle School and Cooper High School. Davey moved to Austin in January 1990, where he lived until 1994 when he moved to southern California and lived there until his death.

Davey is survived by his Mother Judy and Sister Jill Hobbs of Abilene, Sisters Dori Roan of San Antonio and Heather Cummings of Hawley, Aunt Dorothy Crump of Mineral Wells, Uncle Tommy Homer of Abilene, and several Nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials may be made in Davey’s name to Love and Care Ministries or your local homeless shelter.
