Christine Montgomery

Christine L Montgomery, 86, of Abilene passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2019 at 2 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 to 2 PM.

Christine was born on November 14, 1932 in Winoa, Texas to the late Rev. E.J. Lott and Esther L. Young Lott. She worked as a CNA and provided love and support as a Foster Grandparent. Christine loved to work with her flowers and do yard work. She enjoyed wrestling was known for her feisty spirit. Christine was a lifetime member of Antioch CME Church.

Christine is survived by her children, Earnest Charles Smith aka (Mustafh Rashad); Johnny O. Smith and wife Carolyn, Ethel Jackson and husband Keith; host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Earnestine Hammond; many more dear family and friends.

Christine was preceded in death by a son, Donald Ray "Bama" Smith; sister, Deanna McLin.
