Jim and his wife Reba have a daughter, Heather. She was married to Phillip Aldridge for 36 years. The met when both attended Texas Tech University. Phillip had a scholarship for engineering with Pan American Oil and Cathy for a Bachelor of Art degree. Cathy was a universally renowned artist with her work represented in high-end galleries across the United States. Cathy was survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. When asked about her beautiful art work of Native Americans, her answer was consistently To older members, the wrinkles of their life was a beautiful representation of their experience.BRBRWhen asked about Cathy to her husband Phillip, he had a silly grin on his face... what comes to your mind right now Silloid, Pilloid, Manilloid. What does that mean To Cathy the translation was You silly, pill, worthless man of the world. And he would respond, Worthless, monurfless, luperferless. And to them, it was a silly, fun, I love you unconditionally kind of flirtation with each other for so many wonderful years together. She was my rock, she grounded me, played with me, and I loved her, respected her... and I paid attention to her. Phillip noted, I always admired the way she loved nature, the chirping of a bird, the color of the leaves, the smell of a flower. The legacy of her art work was a gift to her family and to all the people that will not cease at her passing. Bottom line: We love each other, we hugged each other. When she would look at me and say Let's go fishing. Everything in our world was OK. She was a beautiful addition to this life and she will forever live in her art and in our memories.BRBRBR
