Bradley Allen Wilcox was born in Abilene, TX on September 17, 1981, to Steve and Sara Wilcox He died at home on February 17, 2026.
Brad graduated from Abilene High School in 2000; he served in the navy as a sonar tech. He was stationed in Japan.
Brad loved music, playing the guitar, and going to Concerts. He even got to meet Gene Simmons of KISS.
He was tormented by severe mental illness and now rests in the arms of the Lord. He was a sweet, kind and sensitive soul. He was really a funny guy with a great sense of humor.
Brad couldn't tell a lie as if he tried, he would come clean about 20 minutes after telling it.
He loved the Lord and his faith was strong and a comfort to him through his illness.
He was always comforting to friends and family.
He is survived by his parents, brother Austin Wilcox and nephew Ethan Nead, grandparents Ted and Shirley Wilcox and Kathryn Rister, aunts and uncle Becky and Robert Pace, Rhonda and Brian Platz, Randy and Linda Wilcox, Gina and Michael Redden, Amy and James Richardson, David and Jennifer Stuckey, cousins CJ and Patti West and Jarrod and Rachel West.
Preceding him in death sister Lauren Wilcox, grandparents Jo Nell Rister, Poppy Curtis Clinton Rister, Carolyn Wilcox, Great grandmother's Lillie Mae Rister and Edna Mae Standar
A memorial is planned in March with food, music, and memories of Brad
