Amy Chesser

Amy Elizabeth Chesser, 38, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at a local hospital.

Visitation for family and friends will be 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2008 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Beard officiating; interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Amy was born on June 21, 1969 to Ernest and Jacquie Miller of Abilene. Joel and Amy met and fell in love in 1986, and they have been together ever since. They were married on July 3, 1999 in Galveston.

Amy enjoyed working as a store manager for CVS since 1988. She loved her family and enjoyed photography, especially taking pictures of her granddaughter Gabby. She also loved traveling on vacations with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Chesser; son, Mark Chesser and daughter-in-law, Brittany Lafler; daughter, Christan Chesser; parents, Ernest and Jacquie Miller; sister, Darlene King; granddaughter, Gabriella Chesser; mother-in-law, Sue Chesser; brothers-in-law, Robby Chesser, Craig Chesser, and Lance Chesser and wife, Mary.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents George and Martha Miller and Art and Juanita Bradshaw, and one cousin.
