Alicia Nicole
Blanco
Jun 20, 1978 — Sep 8, 2026
Alicia Nicole Blanco, 48, was born on June 20, 1978, in Abilene, Texas. She passed away on September 8, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.
Alicia was a beautiful soul who lived her life with a selfless heart. She was the kind of person who would give her very last to someone else, even a stranger. She loved God deeply and carried a tremendous faith throughout her life. Her smile was contagious, and her laugh could light up a room. Those who knew Alicia knew that she had a way of making people feel loved and cared for.
Alicia had a passion for helping others, especially those with disabilities and medical needs. She was working toward earning her nursing degree and dreamed of becoming a nurse. Caring for others came naturally to her, and she wanted nothing more than to spend her life making a difference in the lives of others.
She found joy in the simple things she loved. Alicia loved music, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, and watching WWE wrestling. When watching her beloved Chiefs, those around her could always expect to hear her cheering, "Let's go baby, get 'em!" She knew the WWE entrance songs by heart and could often be found singing along when her favorite wrestlers made their way to the ring. These little moments captured the fun, joy, and personality that made Alicia so special.
Alicia also had a special talent in the kitchen. Her homemade egg rolls were loved by everyone who had the privilege of trying them. They were one of those things people looked forward to and will always remember as something that was uniquely Alicia.
But more than anything, Alicia loved her family.
Her daughter, Tianna Williams, was one of the greatest joys of her life. Alicia was endlessly proud of her daughter and made sure everyone knew it. The two were more than mother and daughter. They were best friends. They spent nearly every day together and even shared a home. Alicia would always say that she would follow Tianna to every duty station throughout her military career because being by her daughter's side was exactly where she wanted to be.
Alicia's grandson, Omari Japhet, was her entire world. She adored him beyond words and took tremendous pride in being his grandmother. The love she had for Omari was evident to everyone who saw them together.
Alicia was preceded in death by her mother, Gail Parker, her grandfather, Leroy Gaines, her Papa, Wesley Henry, and her beloved daughters, Tierra Williams and Skylah Blanco.
She leaves behind her daughter; Tianna Williams, her son-in-law; Tj Japhet, her grandson; Omari Japhet, her father; Mike Blanco III, her step mother, Beatrice Blanco, her brothers; Mike Blanco IV, Jerry Johnson, Randy Corrillo, and Jason Braithwaite, her sisters, Wesleyann Henry, Cestau Henry, Coco Henry, and Shantel Ware; her grandmother; Lois Gaines, her Nana; Pamela Henry, her aunts; Carol Gaines and Kim Gbadebo, her uncles; Tony Gaines and Micheal Gaines, and her cousins; Christye Golden, Chance Golden, Erick Carter, Kayndise Lee, Stephanie Tisby, Belinda Hagenow, Joshua Gaines, Madisun Gaines, Kelynne Leycole Gaines, Zion Golden, Jordyn Tisby and several other cousins. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, many extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.
Alicia's life was a testament to love, faith, compassion, and selflessness. She was deeply loved, and that love will never end. She will be missed beyond words and remembered for a lifetime.
