We may not have words that can explain why a life so precious and so young ended so soon. And today, tomorrow or the next day, we won't have to have all the answers. We can grieve, we can cry, and we can hurt. But even here God has not abandoned us. The same Jesus who said, "Let the children come to me", is the Jesus who draws near to the brokenhearted. That precious little girl was known by God before any of us ever held her or even knew her. She was fearfully and wonderfully made. Her life was brief, but her life was not insignificant. She was loved. She mattered. And she will forever be part of this family's story.
