Adan Chavarria

Adan "Adam" Chavarria, 80, of Abilene passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2: 00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Adam was born on January 26, 1938 in Beeville, TX., to the late Thomas Chavarria and Juanita Rodriguez Chavarria. He married Lucy Molina on December 22, 1956. Adam worked many years at Maxwell Golf Course.

Adam is survived by his wife, Luisa Chavarria; children, Luis Chavarria, Diane Camacho and husband Steve, Leonard Chavarria and wife Chris, Connie Chavarria, Jesse Chavarria; grandchildren, Michael Ochoa, Amy Patin and husband Ian, Cissy Ziegenhagen and husband Michael, Thomas Chavarria and wife Sarah, Jessica Alford, Thomas Chavarria; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Genveva Garcia, Alfredo Chavarria, Elida Fernandez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
