An, Chris and other family, I am so sorry to learn of Rick's passing. When I covered the courthouse for the Abilene Reporter-News I had the occasion to see Rick trying scores of cases. He was an excellent lawyer, a real gentleman, and a Christian servant. Thank you for his service to our country in the Air Force, too. I hope to see you at the visitation tomorrow evening but will be unable to attend the funeral as I am still working full-time (now at Abilene State Supported Living Center.) May God bless and comfort you all as only He can.
