We always liked visiting with Kate and talking politics with her. She always worried about us living in the Washington D.C. area as well as in Laredo, and always wanted us to come home back to Texas, especially Abilene. We will certainly miss Kate and her quick wit and everpresent smile

    Brenda, Forrest and Kay,
My thoughts are with you during this time. I will miss your mom and visits to see her on my trips to Abilene. She was a real Texas character who told you like she saw it, and that was that.
