I would like to send my condolences to Julies family. I went to school right from kindergarten on through high school with Julie. We lost touch after high school, although a few years back I believe she was here visiting and gave me a phone call. It was good to hear from her and catch up on lost time. Its a shame how many people we do lose touch with. My thoughts are with you at this time.

I had the privilege of knowing Julie during my tour as Commander of the Medical Group from 200406. Julie was exemplary for the Air Force Core Values of Integrity, Service Before Self, and Excellence. Her determination and courage in facing her terrible disease was an inspiration to us all. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, Julie. Hope youre surrounded by dogs, holding Alex, and talking to the Bear about the new Michigan coach. I know Dave and your family miss you, but the memories you and they created will always surround them.
I had the chance to meet Julie by doing a portrait session of the family. In the small amount of time I knew her she touched my life with her courage, determination and drive. I will always remember her because of her attitude, sometimes funny and fiesty other times serious and thoughtful. My prayers are with yall during this time.
