Howie T took me under his wing when I got to Dyess AFB in 1987 My first base. He introduced me to his family which I quickly became part of. Went camping with the family and was in a bowling league with him and his brothers. After meeting him, I cant recall a time when we werent hanging out together. Although we lost contact over the years, he set the tone for my AF career. As a big brother figure he showed me how to laugh, love and care. I have always and will forever be grateful to him for being a huge part of my life. Lots of laughs and awesome memories I love you and miss you my brother

My thoughts are with Howards family today. I am so sorry for your loss. I know Natasha was everything to him. I have known Howard for over twenty years and his family has always been his joy. Howard always saw the beauty in everyone and made sure he pointed it out as often as possible. He always let everyone know how much he cared for them by his actions as well as his words. Making people feel good was obviously so important to him. Its hard to even look at the pictures I have of him without smiling, because he always made everyone around him laugh. Howard always seemed to be in a good mood, and it was always contagious. I have many, many years of incredible memories that I will keep near my heart forever. Im happy I was able to be part of his life.

Uncle Howie, what a GOOD MAN Caring, loving, funny, involved in all of our lives. I ask myself, How can one man make so many people feel special individually I know for me and my girls he did just that. I knew Howie loved us unconditionally. He made it seem like Miles were not between us with just a phone call away. He traveled to many places to be at those special times in so many of our lives. God gave him a gift of LOVE no doubt in my mind.
Natasha my thoughts and prayers are with you honney. Know this, your Dad made it known that you were the sparkle in his eye. You made him so proud. His love will carry on through you.
I so wish I could be there hugging everyone....so here is my Hug and my Kiss, stay strong and please if Howie wanted anything, it was for his family to LOVE EACHOTHER

I was fortunate to be one of Howards friends. We worked together for just over two years. At work or home he was only a phone call away if I needed him. He always made everyone smile. He talked about his family everyday and about Texas. He always talked about going home, and he always talked about his daughter Natasha. He was very proud of her. I glad we were friends for even a short time. My prayers and thoughts are with you Howard.
May God bless your soul... Michael Flores

Dear Taylor Family, I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of our precious Howard. He was so many things to so many people but nothing or no one came before his family. When we went to the fair on Wed. he talked so much of how much he loved Natasha and how proud he was of her of all the memories of bringing her there meant so much to him. He talked of how much all of his family meant to him and that that is why he came back to Texas. On Thursday when he came by we talked about his mom,his Dad, Suzy, Steve and how much he missed them.Howard was, by far one of the most wonderful people I have ever known and I feel so blessed to have been his friend. I loved him as a friendadmired him as a brother, father, son, and Uncle. He loved all his neices and nephews and was so proud that Little Howie was named after him.To see Howard was to see lovelaughter in his eyes and no matter how sad you were at the time he could always make you laugh. This world has lost a beautiful person but Heaven has gained a precious soul and everyday of my life he will be in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all Martha Moss
