Coach Byers influenced my son's life in a very positive way while he was a student @ Jim Ned High School. Coach Byers cared about his students and they knew he cared. He also had a great singing voice. Coach Byers could have chosen a singing career, but instead he choose teaching and helping children, he has touched so many lives.
You are in our thoughts & prayers.

    Ovalo,

Coach Byers meant so much to all of us at Jim Ned. I was a substitute teacher grades K-12 and got to see Mr Byers a lot. All four of my children had Coach Byers, the 2 boys in football all of them in his classes or PE. Coach Byers trained my son Gene to sing. Gene did solos in church and UIL and the Christmas party at High school each year. How all loved Coach Byers!! God got a good man, we will miss him. All of you are in our prayers. Love, The Williams Family

Very sorry for your loss. During difficult times like this many people find comfort in the Bible. John 5:28, 29 says "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Please take a look at this short video that gives us hope for the future. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/videos/#en/mediaitems/VODMinistryTools/pub-imv_4_VIDEO
